Suitable for ages 3 years and over.
Fresh from an acclaimed sold-out season at the National Theatre, Ross Collins’ much-loved The Elephantom, will be charging into the New London Theatre for a strictly limited summer season from 30 June 2014. Magical entertainment for young and old, The Elephantom is a wonderfully inventive mix of puppetry, movement, dance, music – and theatrical ingenuity, and is brought to you by the original War Horse puppeteer team. This adaptation of Collins’ picture book about the little girl who is unexpectedly visited by a big blue elephant, is the perfect summer treat for all the family.
We have an Elephantom. He turned up on a Tuesday, just after tea-time…
At first, the little girl is thrilled to have a ghost-elephant living in her house. He makes life so much more fun! But Elephantoms are a bit too big for houses and before long, he’s causing a lot of trouble. Come and join the fun with this intriguing story that fuels the imagination and touches the heart. The story of one little girl and her larger-than-life friend is set to get very messy indeed!
… to be honest he’s starting to bug me.
Did you know that Tuesday 12 August was World Elephant Day?
Our friends at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation have organised a free prize draw for Elephantom fans to win elephant goodies!
And our friends at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust visited The Elephantom cast last week in advance of this special day. Look out for their special Elephantom photo taken on stage.
